October/November Love Goodly Box Review

Lol talk about last minute! Here we are the last day of November. Another few months and another Love Goodly Box to review (see my previous boxes here and here). I always love getting this box in the mail, it's just so exciting to know there are a bunch of new products waiting for me at my door!

I'm not going to lie, the October/November Love Goodly box was a little lackluster. There's only 1 item I really love, which is sad but it happens with a subscription service like this. I will say that the products are still really good, it's just a matter of personal preference.

Belle Pierre

Blush - Autumn Glow

I wasn't so sure about this scolor when I first opened the box, but I've been converted. It comes off on my pale cheeks as a warm peach color which works well for my winter looks. It also adds a little glow, which I'm all about in the winter months. But I will warn you, a little goes a LONG way... tap tap tap to keep from going overboard.

Mindful Skincare

Blueberry Mask

This is a confusing one... I want to like it, but it just falls flat for me. The blueberry scent is weird and off slightly. But I can work with a funky smell if my skin will look amazing after. And unfortunately, I just don't really see a difference with this mask. I'll keep trying it though and see if maybe it's more of a subtle change.



Mr. B's Neccessities

Calm Aromatherapy

Not gonna lie, I've really been into essential oils lately (stay tuned for some essential oil posts!) and so I was using this at night on my chest and wrists. It does smell nice and calming but I didn't really notice any differences in my falling asleep. However, I sometimes think a product like this is just good for the routine so your body knows it's time for bed. (I do have some oils that I think help more that I'll share in the future).

100% Pure

Blush Brush

This is my favorite product in the box! I love the soft bristles for applying blush, especially for blush that has a little less pigment and needs to be built up. It does a great job and keeps me blushing!



Moondani

Mystic Mint Breath Spray

This is a hard no for me. I sprayed it in my mouth and had to immediately brush my teeth! For an all natural product it tasted incredibly chemically. I couldn't believe it, so I shook it up and tried again... and let me just say my teeth were really clean that day.

August/September Love Goodly Box Review

I'll be honest, I'm loving the Love Goodly boxes! It's a great cruelty-free and toxin free subscription. The value for money is great, the products are from brands I've never heard of and seem to be high quality, and the variety is pretty awesome. See my last Love Goodly Review here.

And this month (2 months?) was no exception, there was some pretty cool stuff to test out.




Ok enough gushing, let's see what I got in the August/September Love Goodly Box.

Red & Howling

Custom Frenchie Print


Can I just say that when I pulled this print out of the box I literally LOL'd. I don't say that lightly, but it's true, the dog on the end with the rose... adorably hilarious! I will be looking for a frame for this for sure, I need this in my life. The funniest part is that I'm really not all that into french bulldogs. But hey if it's cute and funny who am I to argue?

Garden of Life

Organic Plant Based Protein Bar


Confession time: I ate this bar before I was able to take a picture :( What? I was hungry, you would have done the same. But I can tell you it wasn't bad, though it did have a Cliff Bar taste and texture. I think I'll stick to the RX Bars or Larabars - my faves!

KINDri Los Angeles

Organic Beauty Oil



I love a good oil. I use one religiously at night in place of a moisturizer (at least during the warmer months) my skin just drinks it up. I just bought an oil before I received this box (only if I had known!) so I've been switching back and forth between the two. 

I would say this is a nice oil that sinks into the skin well (not quickly, cause it's an oil) and leaves my skin nice in the morning. I wouldn't say it wows me but it's nice. And I'm not a huge fan of the very citrusy scent.

I do like this oil though for my hair as a mask (do not use on dry hair if you hate oily clumps!). I run it through the ends and put my hair in a bun for a few hours and then shampoo and condition as usual. It left my hair soft and with less frizz. So I think I may turn this into a mask only kind of product.


Johnny Concert Glamour

Eyeshadow - Radioactive



Oh man, I love the duochrome nature of this shadow, it's gorgeous! I just with the product peformed better. The shade is a bronze-green duochrome with a metallic finish. The shadow is very hardly packed though and is hard to get on your brush.

To get it on my lids I first started with a flat brush and swiping it all over my lids. This left a really light wash of color with more of a shine than the duochrome or metallic. Then I tried wetting a brush and using my fingers to pack on a more intense color. I have to say the find works the best, but you have to add a few layers. It is pretty on though still pretty subtle. 

Unfortunately, I have to say I want to love this more than I do.

Z Natural Life

Deodorant



Ah natural deodorants... out there is some mythical unicorn of the deodorants that works, smells nice, is easy to apply, and doesn't break me out. This, however, is not it. But I really want it to be! 

The packaging is genius, take notes every other natural deordorant. The cream product comes out a whole in the top of this oddly phallic packaging and you swipe it on your pits. It also smells pretty nice. But I did find after time out in a hot day I started to smell. I would recommend this for inside, easy-going days. My biggest trouble though, was after a few days of wear I started to break out. Grr... what is in these things?!

Overall, I'm still very happy with this subscription box, even if I wasn't into everything in it. I'm excited every other month to checkout the new products that are coming!

June/July Love Goodly Box Review

I thought I'd try a subscription box again, because you know I'm crazy like that. I've tried Petit Vour and the Sephora Play boxes before (see what I thought of Petit Vour). The Sephora Play box was nice and I highly recommend it, but there's no option to choose cruelty-free only, which means it's a crap shoot on whether or not there'd be products I would use.

I liked the idea of the Love Goodly box because it's every other month and all the products are cruelty-free (of course!) and full-size. Keep reding for my review of the Love Goodly box for June/July!

Everlasting Liquid Lipstick - Lovecraft


I'm sure you're all sick of hearing how I don't like lipsticks but still for some reason keep trying them all. I know blah blah blah... but recently, let me tell you all, I think I've been converted! This formula applies smoothly and is so easy to get the shape you want. I usually apply a thin layer and it covers so well without any streaks. And, of course most importanly, the staying power. It's amazing, this has lasted through drinks and meals and when it does wear off it's pretty even and doesn't look funky. 

I've actually been reaching for this on weekdays (the true testament of a good lipstick)! For the other liquid lipstick that's changed my mind check out my post here.


Faby

Nail Polish - Save the Drive-in


This color is right up my street, it's a metallic dark gray-ish blue and really pretty. I love a dark color for my toe nails... makes me feel sassy I guess. This has to be one of the best formulas I've tried from a cruelty-free nail polish. It's smooth and spreads easily and the color is opaque after one coat without streaking. Though I still used 2 to get a rich color.

And the color is gorgeous! The silver metallic finish makes it unique and shiny. Yay!



Gemtye

Custom Heart Bracelet and Hair Tie (black and turquoise)


I was really excited about these! I'm always wearing hair ties on my wrists or carrying them with me. And I thought it was a cool idea to turn them into jewelry as well. They're cute and simple but functional, yes please! I would say though that they are best for smaller wrists, at least until you stretch them out a bit. I have tiny child-size wrists and they do aren't too tight, but barely. Just something to think about.

Trillion Pin


A cute pin that supports self-love, I'm down. I'm not really a pin gal but I did put this on my jean jacket and it adds a little bit of fun, or personality or pizazz. I like it. 

New Chapter

Perfect Hair, Skin & Nails

I'll be honest, this was not my favorite product. It's not that I don't think it's a good products or won't work. I just am not really into vitamins as you have to take them with food and I eat at funky hours and blah blah blah excuses. But for me these weren't my favorite part of the box. But I'm going to give them to a girlfriend to try because I hate to waste them.

Overall Thoughts


For my first month of Shop Goodly, I was pleasantly surprised. The Kat Von D lipstick was almost worth the price of the box itself. I think value for money on this is amazing! I like the mix of products that come in the box. But I do hope future boxes have fewer accessories and more beauty (makeup, skincare, haircare, body stuff). So I'm excited for the August/September box, I can wait.

Trunk Club Review and Try On

So I'll admit it, fashion and style are not my strengths. I like them and strive to have a wardrobe I love and that's inspiring and exciting, but I'm definitely not there yet. To help me toward my goal, I enlisted the help of a stylist via Trunk Club.


The Low Down


Trunk Club is a subscription service where you get a box monthly full of clothes/accessories/shoes (10 items total). It is connected with Nordstrom so all the brands can be found through the main store as well. The cost is $25 a month (unless you have a Nordstrom Debit/Credit Card, then it's free!). The process is:
  1. Talk with your stylist
  2. Get a preview of your trunk - Choose any items you want to remove (the stylist will provide backups that you don't get an opinion on)
  3. Receive your trunk
  4. Try on clothes for 5 days
  5. Choose which items to keep and return, note online - Include good notes so your stylist can provide great options in the next trunk
  6. Schedule a UPS Pickup for returns

My Experience with Trunk Club


First, you signup and enter all your sizes, likes, attach a Pinterest board, etc... Then your stylist will contact you to ask more specific questions and get a feel for you style. My stylist, Ali was really nice and asked a lot of questions that helped me figure out my style. We chatted back and forth for a few days and I sent her a Pinterest board I liked.

She sent me the preview of the trunk and I nixed two items that I just didn't think would work for me. I provided detailed feedback so Ali would know why I didn't want them. Next, she sent me my trunk and it arrived about 3 days after she sent it. FYI, I found out you have so sign for the trunk so I had to piack mine up at the UPS store.

Then I got to trying all the clothes on. I would like to say that this part was a blast! I loved getting to try everything on with my own clothes and practices my model moves. Take a look at what I thought of my trunk below:

Dresses are for Ladies


Although I'm not really a "dress lady" I asked Ali to send me some dresses as I am trying to find some that I like for those special occasions.



This is a skirt top combo - cute pattern and pretty color but I just didn't think it was very flattering on me.


Wow, this is very girlie! I did think the cut was flattering but I didn't feel like myself in it at all. 

Pants are for Bosses


Much more my taste. I like high-waisted skinny/slim pants to highlight my curvy figure.


I really like these green pants, they're casual and comfy and flattering, but they were about $230 and didn't seem like anything special enough for that price tag. 

I also received this top (sorry for the black bra underneath) and I wasn't feeling the fabric, color or fit.


These high-wasted pinstripe trousers were awesome. I really liked the style and fit and thought they flattered my waist. But they were a little too tight and I hate being uncomfortable, so unfortunately they had to go back.

Flowy Feminine Tops


I for sure need some more fun, feminine tops in my wardrobe so I was excited to try all of these tops. 


One of my favorites in the trunk - stripes and small bell sleeves kept it from being too over-the-top. But damnit, it was too big! I will be searching Nordstrom for a smaller size.


I wasn't sure about this shirt in the box, but on I loved it! Again, there was a small issue with fit - if I even breathed too deep my stomach would pop out from under the hem. It was just too short in the front. But I love it, so now I'm on the hunt for something similar but longer. Suggestions?!?


The pattern on this top is beautiful, but other than that I had nothing good to say. It's a very boxy cut with really wide bell sleeves - how wide am I supposed to look? It was also too big and had buttons down the from with a gap that showed bra and belly (not my look).


I was surprised at how flattering this color was for me, but the shape, again was not. Another boxy cut with huge (I think I could've flown!) sleeves. It was all just too much for me.

And the Jacket



As far as bomber jackets go, this is actually a flattering one, and the lace detail on the back is pretty cool. I'm not sure though that I'd get much use out of it as the fabric was canvas and the back open lace - I'd be hot and freezing at the same time. Also the color kind of washed me out. 

Final Thoughts


As you can probably tell, I didn't end up keeping anything. But I still feel like this is a valuable experience and I'll definitely try another trunk. There were some promosing pieces and I tried some things I would never have in store. I thought I'd love the bell-sleeved tops and I've learned I need to try for a more slimming cut. Also, I never thought I'd look good in paper-bag waisted pants and I really liked them. 

So overall I would recommend giving Trunk Club a try if you, like me, need some style help. If you've tried this or similar services, I'd love to hear your thoughts!

July Petit Vour Box

I know I'm usually really positive about the Petit Vour box I receive each month, as they have all been really great products. However, I think July has been the best yet! Not one product I'm not completely excited about. So let's take a look at what came this month :)


Luxe de Mer
Gentle Face Cleanser
I was really intrigued/excited when I saw this cleanser. If you, like me, are really lazy in the morning when it comes to washing your face, this might be for you. Usually I forgo the whole washing my face situation in the a.m. in favor of a cotton ball and some toner to wipe of the night's grime. But I always feel the I should be really washing. This product kind of balances the 2. You put it on a cotton ball and run it all over your face, then with a wet wash cloth wipe it off. It's really easy and it feels wonderfully silky on the skin. I am actually excited to wash my face in the mornings with the product. Yay!

AILA
Nail Lacquer - Doolish
Nail polishes have been some of the most exciting products for me in these boxes, as I've never really known where to find natural and/or vegan polishes before. Unfortunately, much like the other vegan polishes, the lasting power on this one isn't great, not horrible, but not great. It lasted about a day almost 2 on my nails before it started chipping. Now granted I didn't have a base coat on, but still that's a little much for me. Also, I didn't love the brush or formulation of this for my hands- the brush is too thin which I find wipes off as much polish as it puts on, and the formula took about 3 coats to look good. However, on my toes I've that this polish is a great summer color and has lasted a week already, so I'll keep it for at home pedicures :)

Nubian Heritage
100% Organic Shea Butter Infused with Mango Butter
I haven't tried this one yet, but it smells sweet and fruity and delicious. Sounds great!

Routine
Cream Natural Deodorant - Sexy Sadie
I've tried a few natural deodorants and have yet to be wowed, but I'm interested in how this one will do. I haven't tried a cream deodorant yet and I really like that this one has clay to act more as an antiperspirant than the other natural deodorants I've tried. My only issue, though, is the smell of this. It that's stereotypical Hippie scent with a lot of patchouli, not my fave. But I think I'm going to give it a go anyway. We'll see if it impresses.

Again, I was really thrilled with this month's box as there are all sorts of innovative and really useful products to try.

June Petit Vour Box

I apologize for not posting in so long, and unfortunately I'm not sure how often I'll be able to post in the next month or two. As I said before I'm going through a lot of changes in my life right now and on top of that I have no internet at home. So bear with me and we'll get through this. But as I am able to post right now, let's get on with it!

So this month my new Petit Vour box arrived in the mail, and I won't lie to you it felt like Christmas. I really do enjoy this subscription as most (if not all) of the products are new to me so I really get to experience everything for the first time.

In this box I received some interesting items and have tried most of them.

100% Pure
Facial Cleansing Brush
This is the cruelty-free/natural answer to the Clarisonics we've all heard so much about. I was always skeptical about these brushes because they seem really harsh for facial skin, but I gave this one a fair shot anyway. And I think I might have been right to worry, it seemed really harsh and almost painful on my face. I use it in the shower with my daily facial cleanser. I think it does exfoliate well, but I will only being using this 1x a week or less.

Spot Serum
As you've probably listened to me drone about ad nauseum, I have been having some insane skin issues, so when I saw this I was intrigued. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now almost daily on all my spots. I think it shrunk so of the bigger spots and prevented some from coming to a head. But I have also been trying another product (review to come) and I think that's helped to.... that's what happens when I try more than 1 product at a time. But I wouldn't purchase this if you're sensitive to smell because it has a strong eucalyptus scent.

Jaq's Organics
Green Smoothie Scrub & Masque
Funny enough, this is the product that most intrigued me and it's the only one I haven't tried yet. As I said above I don't like to try too many new things at once so I'm saving this. But it seems so cool, you put it on like a mask then when you rinse it off you're supposed to rub your skin a bit as an exfoliator. I like the 2-in-1 aspect so I'll have to report back.

FiOR Minerals
Organic Eyeliner - Brown Sugar
Ok let me just say that I love me some eyeliner... I feel naked without it and just love how it can bring out my blue eyes. Now this particular eyeliner was promising but I wasn't able to test it fully. I tried it twice and found that the brown kind of counteracts my blue eyes and makes them green-ish... I don't know how a brown did that but weird. Still I wanted to try it more for longevity but it melted in my room. My apartment is warm but I hadn't had issues with any other make up melting so that was weird. I'll try to test it again once the temperature drops... but hard to review.

May Petit Vour Box

After my first Petit Vour Box, I couldn't wait for more. This box is great in that it's all cruelty-free products so I get to try many brands I've never heard of or tried and know that they still follow my philosophy of being as cruelty-free as possible with my beauty products.

Any-hoo, this month all the products were new-to-me and exciting and although there were a few hits and misses I'm still thrilled with this subscription service thus far. Ok, let's see what I got.

Zabana Essentials
Shimmery Dry Glow Shampoo
Well first off the name of this dry shampoo really scared me off at first. So the only time I've used it it just used a little, because I already have oily hair so I don't need to draw attention to that between washes. But I gave it a shot and it seemed to work ok. It's kind of hard to get enough out of the bottle, and when I put it in at night, I had to add more in the morning (I usually sleep in dry shampoo between washes and wakeup with "newly washed" hair). But I will get it another shot.

Lippy Girl
Vegocentric Organic Vegan Lipstick - Rosey Posey
I've said it before and I'll say it again, I'm just not that into lipsticks. And especially red, I have never found a red that suits me. And unfortunately, this color was not exception. This is a brick red and I feel it would be hard to work this color (kudos to you if you can!) But this has made it to my giveaway pile.

Shimmer Skincare Scrub
Hmmm... what's with all the shimmer in this box? I tried this scrub in the shower like the sugar scrubs I make (see here) so I rub it on my legs, rinsed off the sugar, then tried to shave with it. And it worked well although there is A LOT of shimmer and it got all stuck in my razor and ruined it. And then I kept finding little glitter bits all day... overall I'm not so sure about this product.

MUN
No. 11 Anarose Rejuvenating Rose Toner
This is probably the stand out product for me... and of course it's the most expensive (my problems). But I've used this for a few days now because I've been having some hormonal breakouts. And with using this about 3 times those spots are pretty much dried up. Yay! I only wish this didn't cost so much. But overall I really liked this product.

I'll definitely be keeping this subscription, so many new things to try and hopefully love.

April Petit Vour Box

I was so excited to see the little pink box sitting on my front porch! I knew I'd be in for new products that are natural, vegan, and cruelty-free... can't complain about that. Overall I'm really impressed with this first box and the value for money. Here's what I got this month:


Box Naturals
Luxe Towelettes - Lavender and Rose
It was so funny that I got these! I was just wishing that I had some wipes in my purse and here they come for me. That's fate people, beauty fate. Well anyway I'm excited to have these for those times you just need a wet nap.

Lauren B.
Beauty Nail Polish - My Private Cabana
This polish is beautiful and just feeds my obsession with pastel nails this Spring. I've already painted my nails with it and it's a pretty nice formula. It covered my nails in 2 coats and went on pretty smooth. I did have a little issue with it painting on a little thick, so I would suggest light layers. I'll have to wait and see how it wears but I'm loving it so far.


Suntegrity 
"5 in 1" Natural Moisturizing Face Sunscreen - Fair
This product could be great for the summer months when you don't want a full face of makeup. My skin has not been doing great, so I don't know if I'd wear this on my own. But who knows maybe my face will miraculously get better and I can. Either way, love me some face sunscreen.

The Konjac Sponge Co.
Konjac Facial Puff Sponge
I'm interested about this sponge. It's weird that it looks like a sponge but it's not from the ocean, it's grown in the Asian mountains. I'm all for some exfoliation so I'll definitely give this a go.

Like I said, I really do think this was a great box and has made me more confident in my subscription switch. Plus it's all good things that I want to use on my face and body so yay!

April Ipsy Bag

After a trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma for work, I needed a little excitement. And low and behold my Ipsy Glam Bag was waiting for me as I walked through the door. I'm not afraid to admit that, after greeting my dog and cats, opening the bag was my first task! Although I get excited about the Ipsy bag coming in the mail and it was a good bag this month, I have decided to switch subscriptions. More info below. We all know that I just don't get along with lip products... no matter how much I try :( But if I did, this is a really pretty lipgloss!

I don't know if I've talked about my perfume troubles before, but I am extremely picky about perfumes/scents and my nose gets overloaded very easily in the store. So usually I give up or have Oscar pick something but recently I found a Coach roll-on scent that I love! And now a few weeks later I get sent this scent and I love it too! 2 for 2 woo hoo!

NUDE Dude Eyeshadow Single - Fit
I always love a coppery eyeshadow and this one is no exception. It's beautifully shimmery and gives kind of a metallic look. It's one of those colors that you can wear it alone and it gives the effect of multiple shades. It's pretty cool.

Well that's my bag this month and I'm excited to keep using these products and reporting back. Now I have decided to switch subscription services. After some research and thought, I'm changing over to Petit Vour for $15/month. This monthly box includes vegan and cruelty-free products. I decided that it will be nice to be introduced to new cruelty-free brands and not have to always worry about getting products that aren't cruelty-free like I currently do with Ipsy. I'm excited and should get my first Petit Vour box in May.

March Ipsy Bag

Hello all! It's finally feeling like spring here, finally. Which made it all the more exciting to get my springtime Ipsy Glam Bag. I will be honest, although I enjoy getting the bag each month, I haven't loved most of the products, so this was one of the last few bags I was going to give a chance.

But it was a good bag, so I guess I'll remain a subscriber a while longer :) Below is what showed up to the door in my March Ipsy Glam Bag.


Chella (3rd swatch)
Ivory Lace Highlighter
This may be the biggest flop for me in the bag... granted I haven't tried it really but that's my first impression. This is a very thick and chalky highlighter and it's a little dark for the uber-fair like myself. I'll give a try though and report back if I like it.

Coolway
Glow Oil Treatment
This product looks cool. The packaging says you can use it on wet hair to help protect it from heat and you can use it after to add silkiness and shine. Sounds good to me!

Pixi by Petra (top 2 swatches)
Mesmerizing Mineral Duo - Apricot Glow
I wore this today and I really love the warm golden shimmer shade and the slightly reddish copper brown. They're beautifully smooth and buttery and lasted really well throughout the day.

Oval Concealer Brush
I don't know about concealer, but this brush was really nice to pack on shimmery shades on the lid!

NYX Cosmetics (Bottom swatch)
Butter Lipstick - Pops
As you may or may not know I'm not a lipstick/gloss/stain kind of person. But oddly enough this was one of the only lipsticks I own already. It's a my lips but better shade in a browny-pink color. It is nice and doesn't dry out the lips, just not really my thing.

February Ipsy Bag

As the calendar inches closer to the 10th of each month I start to get excited for my Ipsy Glam Bag to arrive. When I get home in the afternoons, I race to mailbox box, crossing my fingers that that metallic pink bag will be waiting for me!

Last week, it arrived (though haphazardly thrown on my porch and not in the mailbox) and I prepared myself a snack, some comfy clothes, and a moment to myself to delve in and find out what fun was enclosed this month. I didn't even, sneak a peek when Ipsy sent me a chance to see what might be included. All the more fun to be surprised!


At first glance I was really excited about the products included. However, when I really thought about it I decided I wouldn't use some of the products and gave them to relatives who I know will get better use out of them.

Although, a little of this product spilled in transit, I am excited to give it a try! I am always willing to to try volumizing hair products.... I don't know what it is but I love me some volume :)

Mitchell and Peach
Fine Radiance Face Oil
I have been loving the idea of face oils and really just skincare in general so I am looking forward to trying out this product. Unfortunately, lately my skin and I have not been friends so my testing phase will have to wait until I can get my skin all sorted out! BTW... acne in your 20s is lame and no fun!

 Emite Makeup
Professional Eye Lash Curler
If you're sensitive about eyelashes... turn away now. Ok, I have been blessed with long curly eyelashes and have never felt the need to try a curler. I did give this one a quick go and I didn't notice a difference so I gave it to my Grandma. I'll let you know what she thinks of it after she's given it some use.

City Color Cosmetics
Creamy Lip Stain - Flirtini
This is one of the products I've given away, I'm just not into lip products really. I try and try but I just haven't found a product that I'd wear or feel I look good in. I did give this to my cousin though, who tried it on, and I feel like it's a really pretty and wearable color with a velvety kind of finish.

As I had just purchased to blushes I decided to give this product to my cousin. I did swatch the color on my hand though, and it's very sheer but buildable. I think it would give a really nice natural glow to the skin. I'm "almost" sad I gave it away/

January Ipsy Bag

My January Ipsy Glam Bag arrived late last week and I was really excited to see what new products there were for me to test out. I wasn't disappointed!


Manna Kadar Cosmetics  Sheer Glo Shimmer Lotion
I've already tried this product mixed in with my foundation and it does give me a nice glow and doesn't look to shimmery or greasy.

A beautiful golden taupe shade, I'm really excited to try this!

I've been on the market for a new daytime moisturizer so it'll be great to give this one a shot!

I always am looking for great black eye liner.

December Ipsy Bag

I am so excited, I finally got myself signed up for Ipsy and received my 1st bag on Saturday!

It came in an ostentatious pink metallic mailing envelope. I tore into that bad boy and found the Ipsy makeup bag along with all these other goodies.


The bag came with the following:
I am most excited to try out the brush. It seems like a great design; one end is flat and wide for all over shadow, and the other end is a nice small tip for the corner or smoked out liner. 

Also, I've been wanting to get an eye cream for a long time. Because let's face it I'm getting older and need to get on the whole crows feet thing :) So I'm excited to give this cruelty-free, natural, and organic brand a chance.

As my first order, I didn't really know what to expect. But I was pleasantly surprised by the products and how close Ipsy came to almost a full cruelty-free bag. Also the size of the products was fantastic, even the sample sizes are big enough for multiple uses.

I'll keep you all posted on these products and what I think.
